![]() Stephanie also has worked for over four years in the Rutgers Accounting Research Lab at the Business School, where she works alongside PhD Accounting students, helping them with their research in dissertations along with various other responsibilities. She was given an offer to come back next summer as an intern to continue her experiences in Tax. During the summer of 2013, Stephanie completed her tax internship with EY, where she obtained a great deal of tax experience in the Real Estate Tax department. Upon graduation, she plans to enroll in the Rutgers Business School MACCY program to obtain her Masters in Taxation along with 150 credits in order to sit for the CPA exam. She is currently majoring in Accounting with a concentration in Management Information Systems and plans to graduate in May 2014. Stephanie Vallejo is a Senior at Rutgers Business School, and currently is the Vice President of the ALPFA – Rutgers Newark Chapter. She looks forward to contributing to the continued growth of the ALPFA Rutgers-Newark chapter, and continuing to keep the Rutgers-Newark chapter a leading student chapter. Cynthia truly believes that participating in student organizations is essential in order to maximize your student experience, along with hard work, and being a team player. She has received several honors and recognitions ranging from the HSF/ALPFA Scholarship, Prudential Scholarship, and was the 2013 winner of the Rutgers Rothstein Kass case competition. She has organized several ALPFA community service events participated in the ALPFA National convention committee, volunteered at ALPFA NJ events, and recently attended the ALPFA National Convention in Washington, D.C. Cynthia has been a member of ALPFA since her freshman year, and has been actively involved for the past year. ![]() After graduation, she will continue her path towards obtaining her CPA certification. For the past 2 years, she has worked part-time at the Rutgers-Newark Graduate Admissions office. She has interned for EY for the past two summers, within the Diversity and Inclusive practice as well as the Advisory practice. She is the current ALPFA Rutgers-Newark Student Chapter President (2013-2014), and will be serving her term during her senior year.
